~2ND WEEK AT THE SHOP~

WELL IT WAS HARD TO BE LIVE IT BUT IT WAS ALREADY MY 2ND WEEK AT MY SHOP. Every thing went great had another wonderful week and was very blessed. Thursday was a little slow but you will always have slow days. I am going to have a open house some time have not set a date yet but i do know it will be on a Saturday and we will have free food and drank's and popcorn to give out and i will also have some drawings to hand out free womens cuts and free men cuts and also children cuts also will have free drawing for waxing. I will post it on here when i set a date and it will also be in the paper as well. ~THANKS AGAIN DESSA~

~MY 3 DAY IN THE SHOP~

Well this was my first week in my new shop and my last day. And i was so busy this week and when i mean busy i mean busy. First day i work 9 to 9 2nd day i worked 9 to 8:30 and 3rd day i worked 9 to 7. Was a great week and long hours but was happy to work and be that busy my first week. I had a lot of booked appointments and a lot of walk-ins i was so thankful. I am enjoying every min of this and loving that i am able to be at home working. This was a very big step for me to take but i think god every day for blessing me with this opportunity . Thanks to every one for a wonderful first week at~ Taylor's Hair Studio~

~MY 2 DAY IN MY SHOP~

My 2nd day at the shop was also wonderful. I did get a lunch brake today ha ha. But that was all i got. I had a lot of appointments but i also had a lot of walk-ins as well. That is one thing i never though i would get this soon but was i surprised i have a lot of walk-ins. And a lot that seen me in the paper as well. so far every one has been so pleased with there cut or color or wax. Every one has said i do wonderful work and they are glad to have me in Mcminnville so that was pleasing to the ear to hear. ~THANKS DESSA TAYLOR~

~My First DAY Working In My New Shop~

My First day in my new shop was july 16 and i was so excited. I got up and thought to my self i can take my time this morning i only got a 5 min. drive to work and how nice this was know one would ever know. So i got up c00ked me some thing to eat and me and cassidy set out on the front porch for a while and went and got ready. I new today would be kind of busy but was not for sure how bust i had some appointments. I opened the shop at 9:oo am and i ended up closing the doors at 9:30 pm that night. I never would have imaged i would have ever been that busy. I never stoped never set down all day and didn't even get a lunch brake well what i call a lunch brake. I want to think every one for a wonderful first day of work! ~ DESSA TAYLOR~

THIS IS THE WAITING AREA. I HAVE A PLAY STATION 2 FOR THE CHILDREN TO PLAY WHILE THEY WAIT. THE KIDS LOVE IT. ALSO HAVE T.V IF THEY WANT TO WATCH THAT ALSO.

THIS IS THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SHOP. THIS IS WERE YOU GET PAPERED AS MY HUSBAND WOULD SAY GETTING YOU HAIR WASHED AND WAXING. I THINK IT TURNED OUT SO GOOD I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH EVERY THING.

THIS IS MY SHOP ON THE INSIDE WE DID A LOT OF WORK TO IT. WE HAD TO POT DOWN A NEW FLOOR AND BUILD MY STATIONS AND PUT UP ALL THE CABINS AND DOORS. THANK YOU TO MY HUSBAND AS YOU CAN SEE HE DID A WONDERFUL JOB ON IT ALL. WE WORKED FOR A MONTH ON IT EVERY DAY TILL 12 OR 1 EVERY NIGHT. IT WAS A LOT OF WORK AND LONG HOURS BUT IT WAS ALL WELL WORTH IT.
